New report on information influence activities

Earlier today CMS published the report: ”Informationspåvirkning som demokratisk udfordring: Desinformation, Danmark og tre præmisser for det liberale demokrati”. The report sheds light on the characteristics of the information influence activities of today and on what this threat means for democracies. Information influence activities is far from a new instrument but the digital era has brought it new potency and presence. This makes it a particularly worrisome problem for liberal democracies, such as Denmark, where the state has to balance the need to address information influence activities with the safeguarding of the democratic values upon which these societies are build.
