New CMS Report: Future Conflicts and Wars in a Strategic Perspective

Increasing strategic competition and technological developments affect future conflicts and wars. A new CMS Report titled “Future Conflicts and Wars in a Strategic Perspective – Defence and Security Policy Implications for the West and Denmark” examines changes in the character of conflicts towards 2035. The report is authored by former Director of CMS Henrik Breitenbauch and Defence Analyst Lise Wiederholt Christensen, and its published in cooperation with DJØF Publishing.

The analytical framework of the report builds on the idea that long-term changes in the nature of conflicts is shaped by the interplay of existing (experienced) conflicts and imagined conflicts.
