New CMS Report: Danish societal security – The resilient and secure society in a new era of security politics
CMS has published the report "Danish societal security – The resilient and secure society in a new era of security politics" and an accompanying Memo. The report is authored by military analyst Alexander Høgsberg Tetzlaff (CMS) and dean (former center manager at CMS) Henrik Breitenbauch (FAK) and is published in collaboration with DJØF Publishing.
Danish societal security – the intention of a robust and secure society – is being challenged in these years, where increased competition between great powers and Russia's invasion of Ukraine have amplified the external threats for Denmark. This report contributes to the debate of an overall strategic adaptation, as far as Danish societal security is concerned, to the changed security policy conditions, through three analytical steps: a Nordic, a contemporary-historical, and a future-oriented.
The report is in Danish, but there is an English abstract.
