Katja Lindskov Jacobsen appointed chair of new External Expert Panel established by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
Director of the Centre for Military Studies, Katja Lindskov Jacobsen, has been appointed by Foreign Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen as chair of a new External Expert Panel established by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to strengthen the involvement of stakeholders in Danish development policy. The panel is part of the implementation of the government's new strategy for Denmark's development cooperation.
Specifically, the External Expert Panel will contribute to the professional quality assurance of major bilateral grants and support the government's development policy priorities through strategic advice. The panel's nine members represent significant Danish expertise and experience within the field of development policy and have been appointed on the basis of their professional competencies.
In addition, Katja Lindskov Jacobsen has – also by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs – been appointed as a member of the Partnership for Global Development, which will provide input to the government's development policy priorities, discuss key dilemmas in development policy and contribute to translating the development policy strategy into action.
