Job vacancy: Researcher(s)/Senior Researcher(s) to the Centre for Military Studies

The Centre for Military Studies (CMS) seeks excellent candidates for one or more positions as Researcher/Senior Researcher in defence, security, and strategic studies. Appointment as Researcher is a three-year position, while appointment as Senior Researcher is a fixed position. Applicants with experience in applied research in foreign, security, or defence policy are especially welcome.

A position as Researcher/Senior Researcher at CMS entails, among other things:

• Research within the field of defence, security and strategic studies.
• Specific studies and analyses for the Danish Ministry of Defence and the political parties behind the 2018-2023 Defence Agreement.
• Contributing to the public debate, including media appearances.
• Teaching, supervision and examination of undergraduate and post-graduate students.

The positions are available from 1 May 2021 or as soon as possible thereafter.
