CMS Research on Critical Maritime Infrastructure Contributes to New EU Action Plan
In a debate in the European Parliament on 5 October, a core reference point was a recent report that researcher at the Centre for Military Studies, Tobias Liebetrau has written for the Parliament in collaboration with Professor of International Relations Christian Bueger from the Department of Political Science at UCPH.
The report, published in June 2022, lays out recommendations of how the European Union can increase the protection of its underwater infrastructure. The report is a part of the Ocean Infrastructures research group, investigating underwater infrastructures, shipping as well as disaster response in order to develop a novel understanding of global ocean politics.
