CMS Publishes Report on Hybrid Maritime Warfare
NATO and partner countries are facing geographical, as well as social, economic and political challenges when dealing with Russian hybrid warfare strategies in the Baltic Sea region.
Thus sounds the conclusion in Centre for Military Studies’ report “Hybrid Maritime Warfare and the Baltic Sea,” which is written by Frank G. Hoffman from the National Defense University in USA, Martin Murphy from King’s College London and Gary Schaub from Centre for Military Studies.
Amongst their recommendations count closer cooperation between national naval forces, increased independence from Russian energy supplies and the development of a strategic communications strategy to counter Russian information operations.
