CMS hosts Maritime Crime Beyond Piracy Workshop
Thursday, 21 September, CMS hosted the workshop “Maritime Crime Beyond Piracy: Partnerships, Priorities and Visions of Global Maritime Order”. The workshop included high level participation from both domestic and international governmental and non-governmental organizations each giving their perspectives on current issues regarding global maritime crime.
Senior researcher Katja Lindskov Jacobsen and Military analyst Mark Winther were organizing this workshop which was the second in a seminar-series on maritime crime and global maritime order.
The workshop focused on the complex variety of global maritime crime beyond piracy. The aim of the workshop was to discuss common priorities and visions in order to identify potential future collaboration and partnerships in the fight against maritime crime.
