CMS assists NATO in Long-Term Defence Planning
NATO’s Allied Command Transformation in Norfolk, Virginia this week organizes a futures study workshop in Copenhagen making headway on ACT’s ‘Strategic Foresight Analysis’ and ‘Future Framework for Alliance Operations’ projects.
These projects are both part of the headquarters’ contribution to the Alliance’s long-term defence planning. The workshop is organized in partnership with the Centre for Military Studies and held at the Royal Danish Sciences Academy on February 20-21.
Senior researcher Henrik Breitenbauch is responsible for developing the workshop which includes participation from military and civilian long-term planners and policy developers as well as academics from 18 Allied nations and partners.
Professor MSO Mikkel Vedby Rasmussen, Senior researcher Kristian Søby Kristensen and Researcher Lars Bangert Struwe also participates.
